Take your chance to be named the best amateur golfer in the north.
The Northern Golf Masters will once again by played across 36 holes, from the Black Tees - a test unlike anywhere else in the country.
Experience a professional tour format that is part of both the Durham and Yorkshire County Order of Merits.
The scratch competition is for category one golfers and adopts the format of a professional tour event with first tee announcements, ball spotters and live scoring.
The Northern Golf Masters 2026
Join the best club golfers from across Teesside, County Durham, North Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria to see who will be named the number one amateur golfer in the North of England.
This tournament includes:
- A 36 hole scratch event, played off the Black Tees
- 60 players (ballot to be drawn on Monday 8th June)
- Live scoring
- Prizes for the top five spots and lowest gross for rounds 1 & 2 (with a guaranteed 1st place prize of £700 and a total prize fund of £1950)
The event is limited to 60 spaces. Should we receive more entries than this, entries will be balloted by lowest handicap index. Concessionary rates for practice rounds are available between the 15th and 20th of June during twilight hours for anyone confirmed as participating (subject to availability). Following your registration a member of Rockliffe Hall Golf Team will aim to be in contact you within 48 hours to arrange payment for the event which will confirm entry.
