Samantha was nominated for the Service Excellence award based on the amazing feedback she regularly receives from guests, her involvement in training and developing new team members at Rockliffe Hall and for consistently going above and beyond in her role.

The NEHA Excellence awards celebrate the achievements of the brightest and best hospitality service providers in the region who are delivering outstanding service to guests and their local communities at some of the region’s best-known hotels. The glittering awards ceremony was hosted at The Fed in Gateshead on Thursday 3rd October 2024.

Three other Rockliffe Hall team members were also shortlisted as finalists on the night including, Ashley Ashton for Inspirational Leader, Diane Payne and the Housekeeping team for the Cleanliness Award and Alison Liggitt for the Warmest Welcome.

The North East Hotels Association (NEHA) is believed to be the biggest of its kind in England, representing 50 of the region’s best-known hotels including internationally and nationally recognised chains, and leading independent hotels.
